The Judicial Education Committee and the Caymanian Bar Association are pleased to announce the launch/commencement of a Judicial Clerkship Programme available to all Articled Clerks.
The Judicial Clerk will sit with Judges and Magistrates for a total of one month, which will count towards the legal training requirements of Articles. During that period the Clerk will sit on cases in the Summary court and different Divisions of the Grand Court and will gain incomparable and invaluable training and a unique insight into how the judicial process works.
The programme commences on 4th July 2017and applications for places should be made to the Caymanian Bar Association at The CBA will liaise with the Judicial Education Committee and the clerk’s training principal to match applicants with available placements and to ensure client and case confidentiality needs are met.
