How to Become a Member

Attorneys

Attorney Application Form

Attorneys who are Caymanian (as defined in the Immigration Law (2015 Revision)) may apply for membership to the Caymanian Bar Association ("CBA") by completing the above form and forwarding it to with the requisite membership fee.  Each Member must agree to be bound by the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the CBA, its Rules and By-Laws.

Membership applications will be heard at each meeting of the CBA Council and applicants will be notified as soon as practicable after such meeting. The Council usually meets on a monthly basis.

Articled Clerks

Caymanians who are currently serving Articles of Clerkship may apply to become an Honorary (Student) Member of the CBA by completing the above form and forwarding it . There is no membership fee associated with Honorary (Student) Membership.

Honorary (Student) Membership applications will be heard at each meeting of the CBA Council and applicants will be notified as soon as practicable after such meeting. The Council usually meets on a monthly basis.

Law Students

Law Student Application Form

Caymanian students currently enrolled in law school or the Bar Vocational/Professional Practice/Legal Practice Course (or equivalent) and who are in good standing with their institutions, may apply to become an Honorary (Student) Member of the CBA by completing the above form and forwarding it to   . There is no membership fee associated with Honorary (Student) Membership.
